My first love was always sound. We only have five senses in this world. I have learned that developing my hobbies easily became as basic as knowing which sense appealed to me the most. Sound. Sometimes VERY LOUD. Other times artfully quiet.
Guitar. Bass. Drums. Beatbox. Keys. If it makes noise, I may just make a hobby of it. Making the noise is one thing, but recording them is something I still have much to learn about. But for all intents and purposes, here are some of those recordings I feel blessed to have accumulated.

This is a slick one! I've never really been filmed in the act before, so when Northwest Sessions invited me back to play a second session and snagged my rushed little version of a Xavier Rudd song called Fortune Teller I was happy to see what they ended up with.

Video
Aaron Scarborough-- A Slice of Life
This is a short production I made for my Fundamentals of Electronic Media Production class (FEMP). Shot with a Sony HDR digital camcorder, audio from a combination of both my ZOOM H2N recorder and also a Behringer shotgun mic. Audio edited in ProTools 10 and video edited in FinalCutPro. Talent made possible by one very gifted, aspiring police officer, Aaron Scarborough. (He's kidding about that, by the way.)
National Public Radio-- a Public Service Announcement
This was a short production that I somehow got to make for a COMPOSITION class in 2013. What better a break from writer's block than an entirely different medium than print altogether! Made as one of five different message types to promote a greater-good type of organization. This takes the form of a PSA. Produced in Adobe After Effects.
